Statement from Beeston Community Resource CIO – Middle Street Resource Centre, regarding Nottinghamshire County Council Local Improvement Scheme funding.

On Thursday 18th May 2018 we heard officially from Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) that we had been unsuccessful in our bid for funding from the Local Improvement Scheme.

We would like to thank NCC for the support we have received from them over the first 3 years as a charity running Middle Street Resource Centre. This support is ongoing form the council and local councillors especially in regard to them letting us use the building rent free with a contribution towards the overheads from ourselves.

We are pleased that many good causes have been successful in gaining funding from the scheme and wish them success over the coming years.

We would also like to thank the other funders who have supported us and continue to support us to continue as a charity supporting people with mental health issues in the greater Nottingham area. These funders include Beeston Consolidated Charities, Tesco, Co-Op, Beeston Round Table, Lottery Funding and many other groups and individuals who have donated to us over the years.
