On Friday 2nd May we joined together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Beeston Community Resource (BCR), the charity that runs Middle Street Resource Centre. We started the day with a speech from the original BCR chair, Graham Machin. He recounted the history of BCR, and reflected on all that has been achieved over the last decade, namely our MindSet programme which is the centre piece of our service! After this, we celebrated with a variety of activities including belly dancing, drumming, relaxation and a talk by Lisa Kaye on her own experiences of hearing voices.
Thank you for everyone who attended, we hope you enjoyed.
Happy Birthday BCR!
